CHIYOKO TAKADA
I believe style has the power to transform the way we see ourselves and the way we move through the world.
In my early thirties, working with a stylist changed the way I saw myself. It wasn't about trends or finding a signature look. It was about discovering that the right styling could bring me closer to the person I wanted to become.
Style isn't about becoming someone else. It's about becoming who you choose to be.
Before moving into fashion, I was a Financial Analyst at GE, working in the United States, Tokyo, and Singapore. That experience continues to shape how I approach the world.
Today, I work as a fashion editor and personal stylist based in Belgium. Through editorial work, designer interviews, brand collaborations and consultations, and personal styling, I explore the relationship between style, identity, and self-expression.
Whether I'm creating an editorial, working with a brand, or styling a client, my goal is always the same: to give people the tools to express who they choose to be.
